Hi Hovisbrown, I did a bit of Googling and I found this which I have cut and pasted from the Java Website:
http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java_mobile.xml

" How do I get Java for Mobile?
Java capability for mobile devices is generally integrated by the device manufacturers. It is NOT available for download or installation by consumers. You need to check with your device manufacturer about availability of this technology in your device. "

It would seem that either your Scroll tablet does not support exactly what you need or perhaps the website you want doesn't support mobile devices.

Sorry this does not help with your problems but it may help answer at least in part your question.

I just found this which unfortunately doesn't solve your problem but may explain why you can't get things to work properly using ICS.

Sorry you have not been able to find an easy way to solve your problems.
If you are seriously thinking of using it as a discus, don't overlook the market section on the forum.
