Hi all
Ive have a 7" resistive scroll which im trying to upgrade to cyanogenmod 7.
Ive followed everything on the guide, but when i go to apply cyanogen zip i get this

Installation aborted
Can any one help as this means nothing to me. Im sure it simple, any help will be gratefull.

Most likely your issue is because you are using a modified build.prop (from looking at your sig) - put the original one back, and you should be good to go.

did you wipe data factory reset No4 on the 3rd post

Edit i took it off that was warpedflashes one i will have another look
Edit 2: i gotta go bed but will pull build.prop of my 2.1 tommorow if you still need it meanwhile do a search for "evilbobins 2.1 build.prop" i shure he put something up ages ago

I have downloaded the 4k cyanogen rom but mine is the s1008 model number so I will need the 8k rom do you think this is my problem?

My tablet (sku.54065 from DealExtreme) have S1008 board built flash chip with 4k block size.
Determine block size before install rom.

how can I tell what block size?

I have also changed old build prop by taking .old from old one and adding it to the new one then rebooting But can't check it now as root explorer cant get access through superuser for some reason.. aarrgghh nightmare. Then tried again to install rom as update.zipbut still fails with same error.

Got it all working guys, dont ask. The only problem i have now is wifi does not work on new rom.
any help would be great.
