Just wondering if the webcam on the Scroll can be used for skype or MSN Messenger or some other form of IM/video?
I cant get skype working atm - it installs and runs but then closes at the Login screen before I can enter details (maybe its for 2.2... I don't know).
How are people using their webcams - has anybody got anything working satisfactorily yet ?

Skype closes while typing in my password, and / or after it starts logging in, and then if I open it back up from the taskbar at the top, it says not logged in

Just a broken app I think

Have not tried the webcam on msn yet, but can not see why it would not work

The only thing that would stop it is if the MSN cllient I'm using doesn't support it. Currently using MSN Talkand I cant seem to get it to work. Maybe theres something I am missing in the settings.

Skype works for me (I don't know why) but Skype for Android doesn't support video calling. Can you get MSN Messenger for Android?

do you mean voip or full video
i havn't treid yet but read that skype have fixed the known probs for android(still no video support)

I'm not sure I understand the question. I can make voice calls with skype, it works perfectly. There is no support for video calls.

i have downloaded app but havent set up a skype account yet will try soon

Your scroll has the same spec as mine so it will be interesting to see if it works.
