Root explorer needed please

Hi folks, I have run into a little problem - rooted my Scroll but I can't download a Root Explorer app as I don't have market access and until I have market access I can't download a Root Explorer!

Could anyone point me in the direction of an APK file that I can download to my DropBox account, pretty please? I have scoured the net and I am not trusting the safety of some of the links that have turned up for "Super Manager"

Many thanks in advance
Glyn

No problem Dave, also wondering where the instructions for removing the three phone apps have gone as well please? Or have these been replaced by the first link in Detection's post about fixing the market?

Cheers

@Suggsy: Thanks, I knew how to just diddnt have time to post further this morning. I know there was a how-to post about removing the phone apk's just cant locate it at the moment.....

@Glynn: Follow the instructions above once rooted. From memory your Scroll will hang on the first step - hence the reboot.

There is another way to get the same result which I find safer, your choice whether to use it or not :D

Obviously, you dont have market access, but if you did you could download "Battery Booster". The webpage is HERE.

I find that the latest version plays up on 2.1, so I use version 2.9 which you can get from HERE

Install the program and hit the "battery tweak" tab. At the bottom you will see "smart battery saver", enable it and make sure "security level" is set to "low". Reboot your scroll and the phone apk's should be disabled. Youll need to play around with the other settings a bit to get it working how you want it but mine works just the same way as renaming the apk's without rooting the device or manually renaming stuff

Thanks very much chaps - I ended up using the terminal emulator as I was up early on Saturday morning... Not too hard to use, just like command line stuff in DOS. :D

Did you use an online translator for that?

See the little "bunny ears" thing on the right? ( Its the Arabic La'a - means No) You only need one of them :D

Online translators are pretty good, I used them a lot when I first started learning, theres a good one here
