Scroll not charging up properly

I have been using my Scroll (firmware 0.94) quite happily for the last few months, but it has suddenly developed an issue when charging, in that it does not seem to charge up properly.

I plugged it in to the charger, confirmed that it had started to charge and left it for a few hours, when I came back to it it had stopped charging but only had about 10% battery charge despite still being connected to the mains.

I have tried to take the charger out and put it back in again and it sometimes charges but other times does not. I am not sure if this is an issue with the Scroll itself or the charger.

Anyone know what kind of charger the Scroll uses and whether there is a third party one I could buy/try to find out whether it is an issue with the charger or the Scroll itself?

Any other ideas would be helpful.

Hmmm... I just checked my scroll which is on charge and it only goes up to 83% of late according to the battery monitor prog i have installed - it used to go up to 100%.

You could try a USB charger in the non-host socket and see if that makes any difference. The only issue I can see is the current limit of usb (500mA) - There might be a limiter on the scroll.
The Scroll charger I have is rated at 5V 2000mA output. Although I havent put an ammeter in between them to see what it draws.

(Note to self - get meters out and have a play with it!)

Got it to charge with a USB charger. Either the charge socket or the native charger must be messed up.

Thanks for the help.
