Hi - well getting bored with my scroll now as the battery just does not seem to last very long - when I click on useage a huge chunk is cell useage. ?? What is that as this is not a cell phone.

there is a guide to removing the phone components on the Scroll. as you aren't aware of what Cell standby is, i would make sure you are 100% comofrtable removing files before you start doing it.

Will this make the battery life better? Thanks

If you read carefully through he posts on removing the Cell related apk's you get a dramatic improvement in battery life, I'm getting 6 - 8 hrs with use ( reading, surfing etc )

Check out Battery Booster under the recommened Apps section. I use this App to turn on airplane mode which turns off all Cell software. When you check what has been using the battery the Cell no longer shows any use at all. It has improved my battery life. Good if you do not want to get into removing apk files!
