Hi, I am new to this board. I have just bought a scroll tablet for my father in law and I don`t know what he has been doing with it but his frozen and i am unable to re boot it? Can any one help me?

Have you tried a factory reset with the power lead attached and plugged in (if it's still turned on that is)?

How do I do that?

Q. Can I restore my Scroll to factory settings?

A. es. In the Settings menu go to Privacy and select Factory data reset. This will reset your Scroll to factory defaults. You must ensure Scroll is connected to a power source to perform a factory reset.

Release Volume Up.
Press Home

Now you are in Recovery menu.

Select Wipe data/factory reset with Volume Up.
Press Volume Down
Select Yes with Volume Up
Press Volume Down
Wait while formatting data and cache partitions
Select reboot system now with Volume Up
Press Volume Down
