I have a Scroll on which the Kindle synched once then won't again, the Skype never logs in and the USB drive won't recognise anything. Feeling like throwing it against the wall to be honest. Anyone have any ideas if this is normal or is it a matter of a trudge back to Maplins for a refund?

if you close the kindle app without going to kindle home 1st the book sometimes dont have time to sync dont give up on the scroll just yet as all the android tablets suffer from the same issues the scroll is one of the better ones

Thanks but still no further forward on those points although I can read the news now. Skype still u/s, Kindle does zilch but you're right about the port. Got it in the end but could not install the Quick office I bought or find anywhere to enquire of Pocketgear.

I'm also trying to get rid of some icons from my home screen but there is no bin to drag them to. Any ideas?

the grey app drawer at the bottom of the screen turns into the bin when you drag icons towards it

re kindle
open kindle at the home page press menu/more/settings
this should be a black page with two items
account settings and
Device settings
in the Account settings chech that the device is registered to your amazon kindle account
if it isnt you need to register it if its registered to someone else de-register it then register it to your account
