Unable to download using Android market

Now, less than a week down the line it comes up "Downloading..." stays there a while and then changes to "Download Unsuccesfull" - is this something i have done, or a setting? Or is it the known issue with the firmware?

sorry to say this but, it is because of a known issue with the firmware.

That's what i thought it would be to be honest, no big deal as i assume it will be fixed in the next firmware which has been mentioned on here a couple of times.

In the mean time ill continue as i am and download the APKs on the PC and transfer them across that way

If S.O. release an update?!?!? - there will be no market fix.

Hi guys

I've. Been playing with my 2week old Scroll. On v1.0.1 and getting quite frustrated with getting stuck on the starting download senario untill I found this (see link below).
It shows a long winded way to get over the problem.
This is what I did open up (settings/accounts And sync), once there create a new google account open it and let it sync then open the original account And untick all options to sync.
At this time I always find a reboot is help full, once done open the market and download to your hearts content I've had no problems for the past couple of days now

just a quick update on my last post.
Did the same mod to my daughters device running v1.0.1 and again all is working fine
Amazing what you can find on tinternet at 2 in the morning yawn!

hi, I followed the above adding anoteh account but I am unable to turn off the sync of the original account even though it appears unticked... I also attempted to then remove the account but due to associations with applications, etc it stated I would need to first factory-reset the Scroll before being able to remove the account - any ideas/suggestions or will I need to reset it?

although your original account is on make sure all options within this are unticked mine shows sync Calender,contacts and Gmail make sure background
Data and auto sync are both on
Your new account should show two options sync contacts and sync Gmail both should be on
You can leave both accounts on your device as long as the three options in the originalare unticked
Hope it works for you if not factory reset and start from scratch make sure you have the market installer saved in the nand memory
if all else fails take a look at the link in my original post

Ill give this a whirl when i get home from work as my market is playing up too. Am i right in thinking this is all you do:

1. Turn off all sync options against original account
2. Create new gmail account with options enabled
3. Download fun stuffs once more?
