MarketEnabler may get people who can access the unpaid market paid market apps. dont think it will help if you cant get stuff to download or into the market at all - All it does is change your build.prop anyway my v3 already does this it had no effect (v3 of the build.prop makes the market thing you have a nexus one supposedly)

Hi

Many thanks for your advice - Android market worked for a while as predicted following my factory reset. Since then I have set up dropbox account as recommended elsewhere on this forum. I can also recommend using

http://www.pocketgear.com/uk,en,gbp/android/index.html

which has lots of useful apps you can download straight to the device

As an aside, how can you delete an app once you have uninstalled it (short of connecting it via a pc) - I am sure it is simple but has escaped me...

thanks

Use a file explorer, such as Super Manager.

Hi folks,

Am having an issue with the market on my scroll now too, probably firmware related as i have read but just thought i would run it by you guys (and girls?).

I am firmware 1.01 btw.

The Market was working fine, download a few apps (sky news, angry birds (even tho it doesnt work properly) and a couple of other games). All download fine, quite quickly too.

Now, less than a week down the line it comes up "Downloading..." stays there a while and then changes to "Download Unsuccesfull" - is this something i have done, or a setting? Or is it the known issue with the firmware?

Cheers.

sorry to say this but, it is because of a known issue with the firmware.

That's what i thought it would be to be honest, no big deal as i assume it will be fixed in the next firmware which has been mentioned on here a couple of times.

In the mean time ill continue as i am and download the APKs on the PC and transfer them across that way :)
