@JohnJohn

Could you post more details on what you actually did? For example, did you remove the phone apk's at at once or one at a time and reboot after each one?

Can you get into the recovery window? (Power on whilst holding vol+)

Hi All
Not sure what I actuly did, I am one of the It will never happen to me group, but of course it always does
I removed the phone & gallery apps in super manager then rebooted
I can get into recovery mode, have tried all the options including warpedflash’s update zip, comes up,
Finding update package
Opening update package
Verifying update package
E:fails to open / sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory)
E:singnature verification failed
Installation aborted
If I leave the scroll to turn off by its self, when restarted it comes on with the locked opening screen, clock is visible and working, then press a button and it reverts to the touch the android screen

warpedflash’s update zip only works with clockworkmod - not with the stock recovery. you will need to get clockworkmod on the recovery partion for the update to work - please see here https://scrolltabletforum.sevo.uk/site/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=127

johnjohn my update.zip probably wont help you anyway as it dosent restore shit you have deleted.
You have not broken it properly at all. go read the clockwork recovery thread - you wont be able to do teh easy option
get clockwork installed. once you haev done that you can either use someone elses backup if they will let you or fix the problem with adb

if you were having problems with installing the drivers swap the android_winusb.inf file, in the Scroll-Clockwork recovery>Scroll-Clockwork recovery>USB Drivers folder, that you download to your pc, for the one you can download below. (do NOT change any other file in warpedflash's folder just the android_winusb.inf)

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18307166/android_winusb.inf

EDIT - or offer your scroll for sale on here - someone might buy it - as it has firmware 0.94 ;)

dont give up mate , mine was pretty buggered for a few days but I managed to jam the clockwork mod on there with a little help from google , if you tell me what pc operating system you are running I will try and write a guide for you .its not broken unless the screen is cracked if its software we can usually fix it :D
