We need to root the scroll

Hi Stu-

I've been searching the net trying to sort out my flash problem with the scroll and have come to the conclusion that the only way to fix my problem is to root it only problem is I have no idea how maybe you could put a topic on here a some bright spark can post.

Good idea Paul, i'm pretty sure in the coming weeks I will totally transform my Scroll, it's a bit limited out of the box and i'm pretty sure I will get Android 2.2 on here shortly which should solve Flash issues. I'll look into rooting the device - but like yourself right now I have no idea how to. I'm happy to play around with this one though, totally modify it and see what happens. But as you say, hopefully someone that knows more than us can shed some light on this.

It has been reported as not working on some devices, there are some guys over at cherrypad forums that cannot get it to work. But it works fine on my scroll, I can get root access through a terminal.

Visionary works fine, but I have not attempted a perm root.
