Bizarre 51624 - only runs miscroll c7, but no wifi :(

looks like the wifi driver is incorrect, but could be wrong. Don't know enough about the Android os to say how you would go about installing the correct driver, or even where to get one.

Does the CWM version define the kernel version ?

That I don't know I'm afraid. A lot of this stuff is voodoo to me. I'm just picking it up as I go along.

Thanks muchly. No, your backup doesn't boot. Switvhes itself off after the white scroll screen...same as the cyanogen 8k non GB rom does.

What id the technical difference between a GB and non GB rom ?

Hmmmmm.... No idea what the difference is I'm afraid. I'm new to all this stuff too. It would seem though, that there is yet another variation of the 51624 tablet. Bad form IMHO, manufacturers doing this and not recording it anywhere public.

hi all had my 51624 it crashed and froze i sent it back to storage options they sent it back 3 weeks later wiped like new 1 month after warentee boom same again and its been a while now tried everything out there still end up with scroll balloon even when i contact storageoptions and tell them there firmware has error 7 they dont believe me .
i currently have clockwork v2.5.1.3 loaded and working. but due to losing my hard drive to a mega plate collapse i lost all backups ,i have also lost the txt file of what i have tried and not and how to do it .
my head is minced with it i want it back to factory defaults but lost factory settings files as i said ,is there a super hero out there ,as storageoptions say ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO FLASH FIRMWARE yeh right.
