Hi Folks - what a fantastic forum!

I have just ordered a Scroll tablet and for 130 notes it's a bargain
I had planned to use it for email and a bit of web surfing but after scanning this forum for a couple of days I think there is a potential for the Scroll to do much more.

I am a complete noob as far as Android goes and I am really going to need your help.

I have seen so many mods as I have scanned your pages that I am a bit confused as to what I should do first when I get my Scroll, but I have a feeling that there will be great support on this forum.

My forum name is DataBase and I post on a lot of other forums and I'm known as DB.

welcome along buddy, and prepare to get an addiction...

if your as new to android as i was, i'd recommend reading up on using the terminal... its as powerful as it is terrifying!

I used the terminal in Ubutu so I have a little bit of experience - but your right its scary.

Got it today and setting up was a breeze thanks to the how to's I have read on here.

It came with firmware v1.01 but I connected to the android market with no problems and have been caning the downloads whilst I can - so far so good.
