Hi
I'm now the proud owner of the scroll tablet 2.1 and, overall, I'm very impressed. I do like listening to repeats of comedy programmes on BBC Radio 7 and so an upgrade to 2.2 so I can run the iPlayer is high on my wishlist.

I've been interested in open-source applications since the mid 1990s and wrote an MSc these in this area. I have a lot of experience running Linux as well as cross-platform applications like firefox and gimp,

I'm married with two children and two dogs. My other interests include photography, Roman history, mental health issues, carpentry, Pets as Therapy and health informatics. I play a bit of bass guitar.

I really want Android tablet devices to be a success and I hope that this group will help to achieve this.

(My confession would have to be that I am typing this on my Linux PC rather than the Scroll device!)

Sorry to bust another bubble but the scroll will not get a full version of Flash as it's the wrong cpu... so no iplayer
