Hello - Just received mine

Postby raflec » January 14th, 2011, 4:50 pm

Hello All, Just received my scroll tablet and yes I am having the problems other people are having. Battery life approx 2 hours. Apps installed - a total of 2 before the market locked up.
Having said that I mainly bought it to use the internet away from home. At home I am quite impressed, good clear screen, good for saving bookmarks and works quickly. I shall have to wait and see what it is like away from home.

I used mine during my holiday in Manchester (I know, i know) and it jumped straight onto the provided wifi and was superb for finding all the eateries/things to do around the place... was even great for planning the route about (but no gps so no real-time position updates)

Plug it in, factory reset, then loads every app you can think of from the market.

Then install wifi and plane mode widgets and stick them on your desktop.

Next time you reboot, turn on Plane Mode, wait, then turn on Wifi.
