Not bought one yet...

... But I am very interested in this device. And this forum appears to be a fantastic resource! I currently have an HTC Desire, and think it's fantasic. I use it a lot to browse whilst on the sofa, but would really like something a bit bigger, hence the tablet investigations :)

I shall be monitoring you progress towards 2.2 / Marketplace fixes / flash etc.

full flash wil never happen as far as I know there is no version that exists for the modle of CPU in the scroll.
Flash lite works but wont do the iplayer/od or anything that requires a newer version of flash :(

myplayer used the really old mobile streaks so teh quality was shitty if I remember correctly...

So... I'm on the verge of buying. I can get one from Maplin during my lunch break. I'm confident that you guys can get 2.2 brewed for it, and the support here seems to be top quality :)

So, anyone want to say lots of nice things about it to make up my mind 100%? I just have this nagging thought that apart from being bigger, will it be all that much different to my HTC Desire? I guess all I want is a bigger version of my phone, but is it worth ~£140 for that?

hmm? 2.2? Im already running a test verison for djsteve so yes we will have a copy going soon probably..

Depends on what you want to use it for. its much nicer to read ebooks n tha a phone, web broswing is a bit nicer too. oh and speedx3d looks nice on a big screen :D
