Another Extreme Owner

Got my Extreme yesterday and have been finding my way around.

I retired from the Telecoms industry about 10 years since having been involved with computers since the days when an 8bit 8085 based machine with twin floppy disks for storage would set you back £4K.

Played with assembler on CP/M, but mainly use computers now for "production" work though I do have a tame Linux file-server cobbled together from an old PC on the home network that I use for testing Web content before it goes live. Early days with a CLI environment meant that one of the first apps I put on the Extreme was a Terminal Emulator, just to find my way round.

I was interested to find the Extreme was rooted out of the box and it didn't take much to get Google Play working. Very impressed with the browser which does a good job of rendering some pages of mine that have SVG charts - I hadn't expected that without installing Firefox or similar.
