I have just bought a new capacitive 7" Scroll (with 2.3) mainly for reading ebooks. Initially I found that I could not get the calendar to sync with Google at all. However Storage Options have released an update, supposedly only for the stock browser, but after installing it I found the Calendar now works correctly.
Overall I am very pleased with the device, especially the screen. The only time the touch function seems erratic is when I am using it and charging with the mains adapter at the same time.
I would say excellent value for money.
