Hi All,

New user here, so hopefully I'm asking this question in the correct section. I have just bought a 7inch Android 2.1 Scroll Tablet. I have never had a tablet pc before and was wondering if there is anything I need to download etc to improve performance or should I just be using the tablet as it comes. Also, what are the best apps and are these easy to download. As I said, comepletely new to this but looking forward to enjoying my scroll. Any advice appreciated.

It will work fine as it is but there are tweaks on this site to improve battery performance and to get access to the market (assuming it doesn't have it). It depends what level of tweaking you are willing/able to do.

As for good apps, it really depends on what you want to do. I think there are a couple of lists on the site. If you are into books, you will probably want to get the kindle app. Skype might work if you are lucky. You will probably want a better browser, there are a few of those.

Thanks for the info. I'll have a surf round the forum to see what I can find.
