thanks stu my device settings are exactly the same as yours.
veng, i've tried btripper, but simpsons movie is in 21 parts and ripper only done 2 minutes of part one not all 21 parts, i can see this taking some time, i will try another way. now i know i need a ripper dvd to avi i understand a bit more and don't need a converter.

Got my Scroll for Xmas off the wife, super gadget I love it. I have only recently discovered this great forum and with the help of the how to section have managed to root my scroll in readiness for Android 2.2, so thanks for that.

I have been trying to install the new ROM that was created to disable the telephone functions and save battery life but I think I have missed a trick somewhere as I can't seem to get it to work. Anyway, I will post a request for help on the relevant thread.
