*edit*

When I get a bit of time away from "proper" development I'll look at recompiling 2.1 using a romdump from my scroll see if I can get BT enabled.

Aww shame there arereferences to the bluetooth in the build.prop (just setting the name) which could have been left out if there was nothing bluetooth related on there so I figured it was worth a shot :)

Hi there,

Just received the Scroll, purchased for the kids. Liking it so far. Only problem I've had is the Android Market stalling after five or so successful app downloads.

Hi fxiddy, you may notice from other threads that the market isn't 100% with the scroll, however the other options available as listed on the storageoptions website work pretty well and have pretty much the same content as the android market:

http://www.androidpit.com
http://slideme.org
http://www.androidgear.com

I did notice that android gear don't have the scroll tablet as an option (I used the Herotab x5/x6 as it's pretty much the same spec for screen sizings).

@Fxiddy - yes it's problem others have reported on here. With firmware version 0.94 it seems to be ok though. For now, go with the options JimmyW recommends above :)

(As above)

Also, Storage Options know about the issue and will be giving us a fix.

Hi Sarah.

Firstly, DVD films are huge and will soon fill up your storage card.

I would recommend using something like http://www.bitripper.com/ that will read the DVD and create a much smaller AVI file.

The Scroll should be able to play that AVI file once you have then copied it across to the SD card or internal Flash.

If you want to play the DVD files direct, they have the extension VOB

From what I can remember, Rock Player will play VOBs.

Grab one of the ARM6 versions here: http://rockplayer.freecoder.org/index_en.html
