The icon called market fails how? Server error? What exactly does it say?

It says: 'Attention' A server error has occurred. Retry or cancel to return to the previous screen.

If I go to m.google.com and select an app, same message. android.com/market, select an app same again!

BTW Just found a website called softonic.com that will allow compatible downloads but it detects my Scroll as an HTC Hero!

Diego this is a known problem lol. I have tried all the normal stuff on mine and it's a no go. Even changing to firmware 1.00 has not fixed it so I assume its account related.

To the guy with the problem do you have an existing google account with paid apps on it?

SO have admitted they need to fix things for the new market.

We may just have to wait and see.

OK! Phoned SO who said go to Manage Applications, select Market and uninstall updates. This I did and the Market Icon disappeared from from the list (to the surprise of SO). However, the Market icon is still in the Applications List so clicked it and it worked!!! Downloaded an app and ran it. BUT when I return to the Market, I see all the categories but selecting one produces nothing.

Edit: Repeating the uninstall process and it works again but only once.

I need to get a clockwork backup from someon who has yet to remove the 3 phone apk files to try and get my market working lol.

for now side loading is fine but I would like having the market
