Hi All!

Ive given SWMBO one of these for Christmas, but I play with it more than she does!

As others have said, the support from storage options is a little lacking at the moment so I hope we can help each other out on here when needed :D

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!

Hi,
Just ordered a scroll tablet 'for the wife' looking forward to seeing what it can do.
Didn't fancy paying £400-500 for either a Galaxy tab or an ipad so have taken the plunge.

Regards for now,

George.

Hi all my name is Ian and I am a confessed hacker coming from Windows mobile then to android with the G1 and now the desire. All of which have been rooted and custom roms installed. I have had had my 2.1 tablet since mid December, and just glad to find a deadicated Scroll form, so we can all learn from each other, just about to try a root exploit so that I can change the LCD densisty of the screen.
As far as this tab is concerned I suppose you get what you pay for Maplins stated this tablet was multitouch well I can't get pinch to zoom to work more like multi point, not the same thing at all and the battery life is shocking espically when you mointor it with a advancd battery mointor, but hopefuly after reading through here I get some tips to improve this, the battery is constantly up and down on the % read out.

Hi, I'm Nicholas, I've had a G1 and currently using a HTC Desire as my mobile phone. I love Android and went out and purchased a Scroll tablet (Think it's the same model as yours Fozzer from the pictures and description you have posted elsewhere). My reasons for buying a tablet at the moment were: THe HDMI output (which I'm pleased with because I subscribe to a site called jetflicks.mobi- anyone head of it?) Also, the smaller screen won't give me as bad an eye strain as I get with the Desire!
I've never got involved with rooting before, I was tempted to play around with it on my G1, but I don't want to brick it, then I got my Desire which had flash and esentially everything I needed.
In terms of what I hope to achieve with my scroll, well I hope to solve my marketplace issue (I have the similar problem to another member here- apps downloaded after a factory reset, new gmail account etc but then have since stopped. I'm wondering whether rooting with a custom firmware might solve this? Secondly, I hope a clear step by step guide can be produced by a kind member so we can hopefully use flash on our tablets :-)

Anyway, hi everyone :D !

Well it let me download two apps then promptly stuck on the Starting download screen for the others I wanted. I would imagine factory resetting again would let me download maybe some more, but then again, it might only let me download just one app next time :-D

Hi,

When you did the factory reset did you have the power adpater pluged in and switched on? As the reset will not work properly without an external power connected.
