Market still hanging on starting download

Hi folks, looked through the various posts and topics and cant seem to find an answer, so im hoping someone can at least point me in right direction.
My scroll running 1.02 firmware, rooted and after installing clockwork, renaming the three APK files and updating the build prop to v3 still hangs at starting download. I can see all the apps including paid ones but nothing downloads. While its not a massive issue because i can install apks or use an alternative market its kind of annnoying.
Anyone got any ideas?
