Using the Scroll with a cracked screen
For those who have a cracked screen and are unable to access their data or mount the internal memory to back up to a pc, etc. If your screen boots up you can access and even use the applications if you have the keyboard and case attached to the Scroll with the mini usb. Using the F keys, in particular F1 which brings up a menu at the bottom of the screen and then use the right and left arrows to navigate, then Enter. The Notification tab can enable you to mount your memory to the pc and the Settings tab lets you into the menu. I emailed Scroll today to ask if there was any way I could access my data with the screen cracked and not responsive and they replied that there was not. That was until I had a brainwave and did it the old fashioned way with the keyboard like we used to do in the olden days, lol. I have used all the applications this evening and even downloaded an ebook and now I will do comprehensive back-ups. Obviously it's going to be a bit long winded but all is not lost, I've even read my ebook using the right arrow to turn the page and it's actually been easier than tapping the screen.
