Fantastic work Bob :) at least now we can do so testing on CWM and not have to risk bricking the recovery on either 1.02 or 1.02s :)

Ops :( could try flashing all 8 images before you take it back, doubt it could make it any worse

Can someone explain what needs to be done with the large number of zip files. The clockworkmod zip is just one file which i put on with fastboot.

Which one do I need to put back to repair just putting on clockworkmod? mtd1.img is closest by size alone but that is not very scientific.

Img6 had similar strings to the clockworkmod although is much smaller.

Reflashed it and yes I have my scroll back to the original. Would love to know what the other files are for.

The fact that clockworkmod is so much bigger may have something to do with why it does not work. Have the allocations of memory to different uses in the NAND changed in the latest firmware?

I think you could be on to something there with the recovery size, could be a mess up with the 1.02 and 1.02s not having enough space so it corrupts the partition.

to over write the CWM its the recovery IMG6 you need to reflash to get the stock recovery image back
im not sure what things like Kpanic, misc, and Tcc do tbh

Would anyone be able to upload a dump of the Recovery partition from an 8"?
I've tried the versions posted here, neither of which give me a functioning recovery menu.
It's all fun and games, until someone loses an eye ;)
