HOW TO FLASH 2.3 Gingerbread CyanogenMod7 onto Scroll

Alright, I flashed "Storage Options miScroll GB ROM" successfully. CyanogenMod7 looks nice.

One problem - my WiFi seems to be busted. I've already tried wiping it again and reinstalling. I don't know much about debugging Android/linux, but is there anything I can do to help someone else to help me get it working?

I'll sideload a system info app if someone points me to one that provides more info about the wireless chip.

@BikeHelmet - Once you got CM7 on did you do a factory reset and then wipe the dalvick-cache in the CWM recovery? (that's what you need to do when you flash a new rom)

@Charlie - Yes I did. To make sure I got the order right, I just re-did it. No effect on the wireless. It "turns on", but no networks show up. Within 30 seconds, it turns off again.

just check your wifi settings in settings/wireless and networks/ wifi settings then press menu button /advanced see if anything obvious stands out and while youre there set the sleep policy to never
but strange you keep dropping out

It never obtains an IP - probably because it fails to start whatever it needs to start.

I set the sleep policy to never. It still won't connect.

I still can't get my wireless working. Is there a way to sideload lshw or some other tool that can provide more info? I've been trying system info apps, but they crash without providing any info.

I havnt fully read your problem but if youve flashed a different version to your Scroll Tablet the kernel will have a different wifi module in it, so wifi will not be initialised, you need to try and activate wifi then do a logcat to see what the error is

Still no luck getting WiFi working.

Apparently I can't flash back to the old firmware either. I tried, but it keeps giving me CyanogenMod7, indicating it isn't working. (No, I'm not flashing the wrong backup.)

Good afternoon, I have a g11 gpad mid x5a not work over wi-fi, restored to original factory and the touchscreen is not responding correctly.
i updated it with Cyanogen (mod) 7 and the touchscreen does not work anymore, does anyone know how to restore, I'm a layman on the subject much, and sorry for the english I'm from Brazil and do not speak English.
