I downloaded X-plane tried to install and got a message saying app not installed but no explanation why!

I had this recently with a different app, I was advised to install the apk from the sd card and it worked. No idea why.

Tried installing from SD with the same result. No idea where to go from here?

Some just wont install, compatibility issue with either the scrolls hardware or Android 2.1
