Have you tried pressing the HOME hard button when you are on the setup screen ?

Or the power button once to turn off the screen, then back on with the power button, then HOME ?

you seeing an android logo with an orange triangle? - if so press the 'hard home button' key - when on that screen, like detection said. That will take you into the recovery system

Also what order did you rename the phone apps in?

Hello,

I have got past that screen, this is after the screen with the flashing ANdrod logo, I am presented with a screen that says "Welcome to Android for Telechips TCC8900 Evaluation Board (US)" with an animation of a finger clicking on a green android. When i do this, the screen registers, but nothing happens after this......

I renamed them in this order:

Phone
MMS
voicedialler

Thanks

@ midlandknight

This might be the issue - It should be P M T

Phone.apk
mms.apk
telephoneyprovider.apk

all in the /system/app folder - (it was awhile ago i did this, but not sure if voicedialer is the telephoneyprovider.apk, i don't think it is, but i could be wrong)

So can you not boot the scroll up in to normal operational use, then?

Yes sorry it is the telephonyprovider and i think now this may be the issue. I cannot get the Scroll back to normal use, and have tried to connect to a pc in its current state to no avail.... not sure what can be done?

Thanks

What is your firmware version on the scroll? Also is it the 7" or 8"
