possible new operating system for scroll?

Raspberry Pi has anyone else have a interest in this computer for under £25? the sites selling the item crashed today and sold out in under 2 hrs but what im interested in is the linux operating system it uses and would it work on the scroll? it uses the arm 11 cpu

think its running a version of Debian it would probably work on the scroll as an OS if you could compile it but i dont think our Kernel is available to compile
have you looked at Mozilla Boot to Gecko
looks very interesting for older tablets and phones

it just shows the main man who developed it from Cambridge university got what he required they offered the build to uk builders but the cost was to high so they went to china hence the low price. for a arm 11 processor just shows how we are charged lots for other devices smartphones etc

just a update i have paid for mine now its about a four week wait due to demand you have to show a "interest" fill a form out from element14 and they notify you by email with a order form link with your personal order you pay (mine took 2 days) and when the delivery is due they send a confirm email(waiting now.......) £29.46 with delivery

I ordered my Pi the day they came out (from CPC, same place I got my Scroll), but have been told it could be mid-May to July before it arrives!

I've already built a touch screen for my Pi from an old 7" car DVD monitor (the Pi has a composite video output) and a USB resistive touch module I got on eBay for £15.

I also raided 'World of Pound-ish' again and got a flexible roll-up keyboard and mini mouse for £6, so I'm all good to go.

Now I just need the computer!
